About Mannix Flynn

Mannix Flynn is an independent Dublin City Councillor who has served the people of the South East Inner City for the past 15 years.

He is a professional artist and activist on a variety of issues including child protection, addiction and recovery and corporate governance.

He is a strong advocate for social and affordable housing, and for best-practice policing to deal with crime and anti-social behaviour in the city. Mannix is committed to holding Dublin City Council executive and all its subsidiaries to account.

Mannix has been vice-chairperson of the Joint Policing Committee for Dublin City, and has served as a member of the transport and Traffic Strategic Policy Group (SPC), the Environment Policy Group, the Protocol Committee and the Board of Temple Bar Cultural Trust.

Mannix has a wide range of experience in the Arts, in governance and in community advocacy.

Mannix will continue to fight for a safer city for the residents and businesses by supporting a greater garda presence on the streets on a 24 hour basis Mannix will continue to campaign for robust estate management for all Dublin City councils social housing estates and flat complexes and take on the issues of anti social behaviour and criminality.

Why I am asking
for your No 1. Vote.

As a strong independent Dublin City Councillor for the past 15 years, I believe I have made a difference on your behalf, and on behalf of the city.

People are best served by an articulate independent voice that is not afraid to challenge the status quo or the establishment. .

The work that I have done to date shows that I have been a catalyst for effective change. I have worked hard with a broad alliance of others to make the city effective, attractive and comfortable for locals and visitors alike.

I have been a strong voice for effective policing and public safety. I have encouraged more activities and resources to engage our youth and lead them out of harm’s way.

If re-elected to the city council, I will continue promoting equality and inclusion and the empowerment of communities.

As a voter you can join with like-minded people and put me, someone you know, back into Dublin City Council to fight for your concerns and aspirations, to build a better future and a stronger cit for all.
